BookUsNerds treats a valid Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal sent by your browser as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information for the device and browser from which it was sent, in compliance with the California Privacy Rights Act and California Attorney General guidance.

When our website detects a GPC signal, we automatically set our consent-mode framework to denied for ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, and analytics_storage for your visit. No additional action is required from you. Because GPC is a browser-level setting, you may need to opt out again from each different browser or device you use, and clearing your browser’s site data may reset the signal. For every verifiable consumer request:

We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days and describe how we will process and verify it.
We will respond substantively within 45 calendar days of receipt.
If we need additional time, we may extend our response period by up to an additional 45 calendar days and will notify you in writing of the extension and the reason for it, consistent with the CCPA.

Verification typically involves confirming information you have already provided to us, such as the name, email, or phone number associated with a prior booking. Opt-out and GPC requests do not require identity verification.
